Tittle : VIT-AP University Summer Research Internship Program (VSRI-2025)

School of Electronics Engineering, VIT-AP University invited for Summer Research Internship 2025. This internship program aims at introducing undergraduate and postgraduate students to research so as to enthuse them, and to get them interested in a career in teaching and research. 

Number of Intake

• Total: Maximum 50 interns for each course

Eligibility (ONLY NON-VIT-AP University STUDENTS with the following criteria):

• The applicant must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or post graduate student pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, Physic, or other allied streams from an accredited (officially recognized) Indian institute/university.
• The applicant must have a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 65% in the most recently completed semester (or earlier semester if the results for the current semester are not yet available at the time of application).
• The applicant must be available during the internship period.

Application process

• The application is to be submitted online at the portal available at the homepage of VIT-AP University or below link. 
• Selection will be made on the basis of academic record, aptitude for research, accomplishments and area(s) of research interest.

Amount of Fellowship

• No other amount/benefit shall be applicable.

Duration

• 10-45 days between May and July (Tentative: 20.05.2025 to 20.07.2025 and depending on faculty availability).

Application Submission

• Applications must be submitted through the web portal only.
• Offline applications and applications through emails shall not be entertained.
• After the deadline, no applications shall be accepted.

Application Fees:

• 2 week: Rs.300/-(IEEE Members) Rs.500/-(Non IEEE Members)
• 4 week: Rs.500/-(IEEE Members) Rs.700/-(Non IEEE Members)
• 7 week: Rs.1000/-(IEEE Members) Rs.1200/-(Non IEEE Members)

Importance Dates:

• Announcement inviting applications:2nd April 2025

• Last date for submission of online form:10th May 2025

• Declaration of Notification (by email) and Internship date: 15th May 2025 Stipend & Internship Certificate

• There is no provision of stipend, travel support, accommodation or any kind of monitory benefits to any selected intern. 

• An internship certificate will be provided to interns whose performance is certified by faculty mentor as Excellent/Good/Satisfactory. 

• Interns with unsatisfactory performance (as determined by their respective faculty mentors) may not be allowed to continue and/or may not be issued an internship certificate. 

Accommodation

• Hostel accommodation and food (from the hostel mess) will be provided to the selected interns subject to availability.
• Charges to be borne by the interns
