Objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

· Apply the Engineering Design Process to build a transformer-based financial prediction system.

· Understand transformer architectures and their application to financial time-series data.

· Design and prototype a system that processes market data (prices, news, fundamentals) using transformers.

· Implement and fine-tune transformer models for specific financial prediction tasks.

· Evaluate model performance and present results to stakeholders.
