Five Day EDP on “Advanced PCB Design, Prototyping and Hardware Startup Development”

Short Description for Event:

This EDP is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive, industry-oriented practical experience in advanced PCB design methodologies, high-speed circuit implementation, RF and EMI engineering, embedded hardware design, manufacturing workflows, and PCB debugging techniques. The program will include extensive hands-on sessions using industrial design tools and Engineering Clinics (ECS) PCB prototyping facilities.

Expected Outcomes:

Participants will gain practical exposure to advanced PCB design workflows used in industry.

Participants will develop manufacturing-ready PCB designs using professional CAD tools.

Teams will generate Gerber, BOM, and pick-and-place files suitable for fabrication.

Participants will understand EP42 PCB machine workflow and PCB prototyping methodology.

The workshop will strengthen practical hardware design, debugging, and EMI analysis skills.

The initiative will enhance the practical innovation ecosystem and technical outreach activities of the university.
