School of Social Sciences and Humanities VIT-AP University(VISH) is organising its annual conference Athena 2024-25 from 28-29 March 2025 on “THE FUTURE OF AI IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION (FAIFLE): IMPLICATIONS AND CHALLENGES”. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming education, enhancing personalized learning, lesson planning, and assessment. In language education, AI-powered tools like machine translation and speech recognition improve accessibility and engagement. These innovations create immersive, efficient learning experiences but also raise ethical and cultural concerns. This conference will bring together educators, researchers, and industry experts to discuss AI’s role in language teaching and learning. Topics include AI’s impact on foreign language acquisition, including English as a foreign language (EFL). The event will explore both opportunities and challenges in AI-driven education. Experts will share insights on optimizing AI for teaching effectiveness. A key focus is making AI-driven education more inclusive and accessible.
